Overview
When you make a pledge on Proxe, you're making a commitment tied to the outcome of an idea or challenge. Your payment method is authorized at the time you create your pledge, but charges only happen if the idea or challenge resolves under the posted rules.
When You'll Be Charged
You'll only be charged if:
- The idea or challenge is completed under the posted rules
- The completion is verified and resolved successfully
Your payment method won't be charged if an idea is canceled, expires, or doesn't meet the completion criteria. Pledges are commitments, not immediate charges.
Refund Policy
Refunds aren't automatic, but we'll review issues fairly. If something goes wrong, contact us and we'll take a look.
We may issue refunds in limited cases, such as:
- The challenge or idea is canceled before completion
- Fraud or abuse is confirmed
- A material issue occurred (e.g., duplicate charge, clear platform error)
Processing Fees
Sometimes processing fees aren't returned by payment providers. If a refund is issued, the full refund amount will be processed, but payment providers may retain their processing fees separately.
